The 20th Annual St. Joe Pickle Festival


The St. Joe, Indiana Pickle Festival is an annual event that many look forward to each year! However, this year’s festival is a particularly exciting celebration, as it marks the 20th Anniversary of the St. Joe Pickle Festival! Simply put, it is a very big “dill”!

This three day event begins on Thursday, July 21st and ends Saturday, July 23rd! Each day will be filled with fun for all ages, so it is the perfect outing for families and friends to enjoy together.

On Thursday, the Pickle Festival commences at 4:00 PM to the public, and a few highlights of the first day are the kid’s Pickle Derby and a live musical performance by Steadfast!

Friday, July 22nd, the fun begins at 10:00 AM with a bake sale and silent auction, as well as a kid’s coloring contest, and Indiana Wild Animals and Fireman’s Fish Dinner later on. The Blue Light Volunteer Firefighter Parade and performances by Angela Flicks and Bekah Bradley will also take place into the evening!

The last day, Saturday, July 23rd, will be full of excitement, which begins bright and early! The Pickle Pepper Poker Walk will start at 6:30 AM, and from there, some events include tours of Sechler’s Pickle Factory, Silly Safari’s show, Pickle People contest, a Grand Finale Parade, and the 7th Annual Pickle Fest Cruise In! 1 Ton Trio Band and Terry Lee & The Rockaboogie Band will also be performing on Saturday. At 10:00 PM, the festival will end on a high note with a Fireworks show!

Throughout the three day span, attendees can enjoy the ongoing Art and Photo Show, Flea Market, Donut and Bake Sale, ! Food vendors will also be available; don’t forget to try the fried pickles! No pets are allowed on the festival grounds.
