Springtime in DeKalb County, Indiana is a period of uncertain weather forecasts and an overwhelming excitement for the Auctions America “Auburn Spring” Collector Car Auction! This year, the Auctions America team has even more festivities for spectators to enjoy!

Taking place May 5th through May 7th, this three day event will be a fun weekend for surely everyone! From the incredible cars being featured, to the new activities being introduced and the celebrity guest expected to attend, there is so much to look forward to!

This year, the auction itself will feature about 450 cars and will have a large amount of automobiles being auctioned off with no reserve, which is sure to add to the excitement. Moreover, the auction park is expecting to have upwards of 20,000 attendees come through during the three day occasion!

Wayne Carini, from Chasing Classic Cars on the Velocity channel, will be at the auction park both Friday and Saturday! He will even be filming for parts of the show, and will allot time to interact with the public and sign autographs! He is also selling six vehicles from his own car collection, and the sale of his ’66 Dodge Monaco will benefit the Treasure Coast Autism Project. Auctions America is also giving the proceeds of a ’06 Ford Shelby Terlingua Mustang Coupe Tribute (seen above) to the Autism Speaks organization!

The newly introduced attractions for this year’s auction will be a Retro Swap on Saturday, May 7th which will showcase vintage finds, a Saturday morning “Cars & Coffee” that will be perfect for car enthusiasts to come together and interact, and lastly, an Automotive Midway that will consist of displays and demonstrations by car clubs, organizations, and local museums. The Automotive Midway will also include the Planters famous “NUTmobile” to honor the 100th birthday of Mr. Peanut!

Continuing with the amazing highlights of the Auburn Spring Weekend, the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) will be having a National Spring Meet for the 4th consecutive year, which is expected to bring in an additional 400 vehicles!
