Imagine all of your favorite Auburn, Indiana businesses and attractions in one place for an entire day! Discovering Historic Auburn is that, and much more! The Downtown Auburn Business Association (DABA), KPC Media, and the DeKalb County Visitors Bureau (DCVB) partnered up again for the 5th Annual Discovering Historic Auburn!
This year, the event will be on Sunday, May 15th 2016 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM! In a few short weeks, Auburn, Indiana residents and visitors to the area, will be able to enjoy over 100 different booths throughout North Main, Jackson, and 5th & 6th Street. These vendors will range from talented artists displaying and selling their work, culinary vendors with a variety of delicious foods, and local shops and businesses showcasing their goods and services!
The vendors won’t be the only form of entertainment for the Discovering Historic Auburn attendees! There will be numerous music performers throughout the day and a scavenger hunt to test your knowledge of the Downtown area. Horse-drawn wagon tours, by the DeKalb County Horsemen’s Association, will be offered that showcase the historical homes of Auburn, as well as other tours of the Auburn Fire Department, Three Bean Coffee Company, The Window Nook Studio, the Old Auburn Hotel and the Old Auburn Power Plant!
The fun isn’t stopping there! During Discovering Historic Auburn, residents and visitors will be given FREE admission into the 6 museums in Auburn (with the possession of a Discovering Historic Auburn “passport” that will be handed out during the event)!
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for this wonderful springtime occasion! Bring friends and family and discover what Auburn, Indiana has to offer!
