The holiday season is right around the corner, and DeKalb County has some wonderful events for our community and visitors to enjoy!
The 31st Annual Christmas Stroll, which is sponsored each year by the Auburn Classic Noon Lions Club, is being held on November 21st, 2015. This unique and merry event will be located in Auburn, showcasing professionally decorated homes and downtown businesses.
The Christmas Stroll allows guests the opportunity to gather ideas for adorning their own homes for the holidays and it will be sure to put you in the spirit to do so! After touring the nine locations full of beautifully lit trees, bright and cheerful wreaths, decorated mantels and cozy fireplaces, you will be sure to leave with some visions for your own home!
This event is considered an all-day occasion on Saturday and participants may visit homes and businesses in the order that they choose. Purchase tickets in advance from multiple DeKalb County businesses or call (260) 925-6686. Also, tickets are available at any Christmas Stroll location on the day of the event!

Another exciting holiday event that takes place in DeKalb County is the annual Christmas Parade followed by the Lighting of Frosty. This is presented by the Downtown Auburn Business Association and will be occurring on November 24, 2015.
The DeKalb County community and visitors of the area are welcome to congregate Downtown Auburn to watch the festive parade and arrival of Santa and his reindeer! Afterwards, audiences may gather at the Courtyard Park and watch as Frosty lights up for the holiday season! Don’t miss out on this spectacular event that will commence the “most wonderful time of year!” It is a joyous occasion that is enjoyed by many each and every year!
