Garrett Library Fall Festival
Saturday, October 29 (1:00 – 4:00 pm)

Admission: FREE!

The DeKalb County Horsemen’s Association will provide horse-drawn wagon rides. There will be a moonwalk, games, food, prizes and a Halloween costume contest for the youth. Mandy Fritz and the Jay Fox Band will provide music. Also, the library’s reading therapy dogs join the children in a costume parade. Trunk or Treat! Kid’s Day at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum

Enjoy fun activities for 0-12 year olds, car side Trick or Treating and come dressed in costume if you wish. Parents must be escorted by children.

 

Pirates of Eckhart Park & The Pirate Cemetery

Children’s activities this Friday through Monday. Activities include sink the ship, walk the plank and treasure hunt in the pavilion maze.

Come out and see why the Waterloo countryside is not safe after dark. Once you’re on the hayride there is no turning back. You will be haunted along the ride down to our trail of terror. Once you get to the trail you will encounter our black tunnel, the graveyard, and you may even see one of the scarecrows which are rumored to come to life at night and cause mayhem after dark.
